Racin' on Streets of Gold

Picture
I saw this one in Waco, TX.  Must have been a gear head.

William Cowper Brann

Picture
Brann had a magazine called the "Iconoclast".  He was a frequent critic of Baylor University and Baptists in general.  He was gunned down in Waco, TX and died the net day.  For more information, got to:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Cowper_Brann

Republic of Texas Citizen Medallion

Picture
Placed on the graves of those who were citizens of the Republic of Texas.  Don't see these too often.

Eulus Jones

Picture
This nice home-made marker has a little decoration set in it.

"She's a Big Deal!"

Picture
I saw this headstone in a small Texas cemetery.  I wonder if it is a quote from the young lady or if her family just wanted to let people know how they felt.

Albert Wilson Baby Died

Picture
Found this one in the corner of a formerly rural cemetery  near Austin, TX.  Don't know if there was a date under the "Baby Died" or if they were simply stating a fact.

University of Texas Fan

Picture
I was unaware that University of Texas logos can be licensed for headstones.  She must have been a serious fan of UT.
